Results Matter! Challenge Day is an “eye opener”. Our new campers get to experience Run4Time ™, the Push Up Challenge, The Pro Day Challenge and the Gauntlet Challenge ™. At the same time they get to see how much our veteran campers improve. Nothing puts a smile on our instructors’ faces more than to see the look of awe on a new camper’s face who tested in with a 10 minute run watching a veteran who ran the same 10 minute time six week prior knocked out a 7:45!
Dynamic Warm Up
First, we get you moving through a fun dynamic warm-up that will initiate the first calorie burned of the 750+ calorie session. Did you know that stretching statically before a workout isn’t best? That’s why at Five Star Fitness, we believe our Dynamic Warm Up is an intelligent approach to preparing your body for activity. You’ll soon learn what butt-kickers, power skips and lo/hi chops are all about.
After the Dynamic Warm Up, we move on to our Team Challenge module which ramps your body’s metabolism up to the next level while at the same time allowing you and the other campers to work together as a team. Team finish, Hybrid Relay, Push Up Marathon and Sunday Morning Pace are some fun calorie blasting drills you’ll learn to love!
Strength & Core
Next, it’s time to get busy! Your instructor will coach you through strength and core exercises not typically found in the gym. Inchworms, core push-ups, the burpee challenge, Spidermans, crazy push up and lunge variations are all designed to get transform you into a lean and mean machine. This segment really makes a difference.
The Power Alley ™
We coach you through The Power Alley ™ next. Our Power Alley consists of a series of power, speed, and agility drills that not only burns calories but also takes your fitness to the next level by building on the strength you’ve gained. With fun drills like the “Ab Grinder”, “Hell’s Gate” and “Caterpillar Relay” you are sure to be challenged!
Before dismissed, we take you though a cool down that allows your body to recover from the days activities. And just think-all of this before 7 a.m.!
